For the welcome cruise, the attire is dressy casual. We suggest daytime dresses or polished separates for women, and button-down shirts, lightweight slacks, and sport coats for men. The cruise will include some walking during boarding, so we recommend comfortable flats.
For the wedding ceremony and dinner, the dress code is garden party formal. Tea-length or midi dresses in elegant fabrics or dressy cocktail attire are appropriate for women. Men should wear a suit and tie or summer-weight formalwear.

Children are warmly welcome at the welcome cruise and the ceremony. However, the dinner celebration will be an adults-only event. For those who may need childcare during the evening, we’re happy to recommend trusted providers through our local church—please reach out if you’d like more information.

Yes—an Uber code will be provided to cover transportation to the ceremony and back to the reception. For all other events, we will share detailed directions to help you get there easily. Keep an eye out for more information as the weekend approaches!

We’ve reserved room blocks at two great hotels in Tribeca—Warren Street Hotel and Smyth Tribeca—both offering a convenient and comfortable base for your stay. You can find more details and booking instructions on our Travel & Stay page.
We recommend booking your accommodations as soon as possible, as summer is a busy time in New York City. The deadline to secure your room at the Warren Street Hotel is July 15th, and at the Smyth Tribeca it’s July 3rd. Be sure to reserve early to guarantee availability at the special group rate!

In mid-August, New York City is typically hot and humid, with daytime highs averaging in the mid-to-upper 80s°F (around 29–31°C). Evenings are usually warm, often staying in the 70s°F (21–24°C).
Occasional summer showers or thunderstorms can pop up, so it’s a good idea to check the forecast and pack accordingly!

New York City is very walkable, and the subway is often the fastest and most affordable way to get around. Taxis and rideshares like Uber and Lyft are also readily available.
While our wedding events are not all in Tribeca, we will provide detailed directions to each location to help you navigate the city with ease.
